Siyuan Ge is an associate attorney in Gray Ice Higdon’s intellectual property practice group. She focuses on patent preparation and prosecution, and has experience in a wide range of technologies including but not limited to: display panels, image and audio processing, machine learning, autonomous driving, medical devices, semiconductor devices, wearable devices, content delivery network, battery, ceramic preparation, gas and steam turbines, antennas, lighting, and chemicals.
She obtained her B.S. in Materials Physics from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), and M.S. in Material Engineering from University of Virginia. Ms Ge has been trained to gain extensive experiental/industrial experience in materials characterization, Li-ion batteries, thermal spray coatings, electrodeposition, and metal 3D printing. Prior to law school, Ms. Ge worked as a technical specialist in a Northen Virginia IP boutique drafting and prosecuting semiconductor and software-based patent applications for over two years. She also interned/clerked with firms and organizations during law school to gain additional experience in trademark, litigation, as well as commercialization and licensing work.
